Who we are

The Private Group Holdings Limited (company number 17481992), registered office F38 & F39 Cheadle Place, Stockport Road, Cheadle, Cheshire, SK8 2GL, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Where you apply for a role with one of its subsidiaries, that company is also a controller of your application.

What we collect

• Details you send us by email, such as your name, contact details and message.
• Job applications, including your CV, work history, answers to application questions and interview scheduling details.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking.

How we use it and why

We use application data to assess your suitability for a role and to arrange interviews. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting. We use enquiries to reply to you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding.

Who we share it with

Applications are collected and scheduled through service providers acting on our instructions, including Typeform and Calendly, and our email provider. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

If your application is unsuccessful we delete it six months after the role closes, unless you ask us to keep it for future roles. If you join us, your application becomes part of your employment record. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@theprivategroup.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
